A morning in Meyman, Iran
A morning in Meyman, Iran

Plain air drawing, Oil pastel on paper
2016
In 2016 I had itchy feet again and having always been drawn to all things Persian, I decided to go to Iran for a month to explore and do some drawing.
I’d originally applied for an artist residency on Hormuz Island but then decided to travel around the country on my own for a month instead.
Drawn to Meymand for being the longest (and still) inhabited troglodyte village in the world, I was keen to visit!
