CACTI

Cacti are such an incredible family of plants, they have captured my imagination since spending time in Mexico. I love the architectural nature of their structures, their solidity and hardiness to the harshest of climates. Their play of light when the bright sun shines on them, creating ever changing plays pf shadow on their flanks. My all time favourite is the nopal cactus, it has so much character and joy with its funny oval shaped leaves and pink spoken fruits. I could draw them endlessly.
